Rosetta Robins is a highly experienced professional and licensed attorney who in her most recent corporate role of Vice President, Compliance and Risk Management oversaw a corporate compliance office and reviewed and evaluated healthcare and financial services compliance issues, designed staff compliance trainings, developed and/or enhanced the Code of Conduct, created compliance polices and procedures and ensured compliance by corporate staff and stakeholders.

Additionally, she is a former corporate attorney with a background in labor and employment law and contracts. Her employment as in-house counsel was in highly regulated industries.

 

Her over 25 years of legal experience advising corporate clients in the area of human resources practices and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, emphasized preventive law. This approach is based on proactive counseling and advising, training managers and supervisors and developing legally compliant policies and procedures.

Dr. Robins is a former university administrator and associate dean and developed and taught courses in personnel administration (human resources) and health services management.

 

Dr. Robins received her law degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC), School of Law. She earned two other advanced degrees—Doctorate of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration and Master’s in Public Administration—at UMKC, also. She has a graduate level certificate in Corporate Health Care Compliance from the George Washington University, and is authorized by HCCA to use CHC, the certified in healthcare compliance designation.
